Ben Huxley

RHB/RM Born: Chester, 1966

Joined Abberton for the 2009 season having played a solitary TCL match for Colchester Garrison the previous year. Formerly with Hampshire side Hartley Wintney.

A bustling right arm medium pacer who gains both movement and bounce, he must be the only player in the area to have sampled cricket in Brunei (formerly Borneo) whilst serving with the British Army.

A middle order batsman who likes to play his shots, he is extremely fast in the outfield and has resultingly earnt the nickname of 'The Gas'.
