Craig Scott

RHB/RM Born: Clacton-on-Sea, 1977

Joined from St Osyth in 2006, having previously served with Clacton. Medium pacer whose nagging line and length and deceptive pace off such a short run up make him a tricky customer who is often employed at the start of the innings. Bowls lengthy spells with a BB of 7-98. Previously considered a no-hoper with the bat, he has worked hard at this aspect of his game and made some valuable contributions. Liable to get a tad grumpy on the pitch, he has taken over the duties of Assistant Groundsman. A great favourite with our friends from across The Strood.
