Opening bat for the 4th XI because, quite simply, we don't have a 5th XI! Often faces more balls in the showers than he does whilst at the crease.

Made a career best 13*in 42 overs against Essex Samaritans II in 2004, an innings which included three top-edged boundaries over the slips.

Bowls very occasional off spin with similar success and has dropped 24 catches in succession up to the end of 2008. Has an IQ of 173, works for a city law firm and drives a Jaguar. Copson says he is a "spenldid chep".
