RHB Born: Maldon, 1953

Hugely dependable opening bat who amassed millions of runs whilst Playing for Tollesbury both before WW2 and prior to being enticed to The Brow at the start of the 2003 campaign. Has scored over 3500 runs since then at a highly respectable average of 37 and was 2nd XI Batsman of the Year in 2008.

Always a sagacious advisor, he is the club's specialist long on fieldsman. Oldest player on the books who can move at a speed of greater than 3 mph without motorisation although his mobility has been impaired in the last two years. Steady now!
