Hard hitting and highly dependable early to middle order batsman who likes to play his shots, being particularly effective against the short ball.

Probably one of the most tattooed of Abberton's players (excepting perhaps some of the Ladies' team), he won the 3rd XI Batsman of the Year award in both 2006 and 2008, as well as taking three gongs for that side in 2007.

Bowls off spin and is one of the fitter members of the club courtresy of his work in HM Services. Allegedly father of Ryan despite severe differences in appearance and general alertness.
