Luke Parsons

LHB/RM Born: Cambridge, New Zealand, 1982

Previously lucky enough to play in NZ with Steve Snell for Te Awamutu Sports, this hugely talented albeit injury prone all-rounder made an inglorious debut for ADCC in 2009 whilst on loan from North Down CC in Northern Ireland. Talk of a permanent mid-season transfer was quashed after his overly-exuberant contractual demands were unable to be met.

Career has been marred by fluctuating weight issues and run-ins with the law. Has shown genuine promise as a sightscreen attendant. Can only field in the ring due to his sadly weak arm and portly disposition; evidently does not hold a season ticket to the salad bar.
