Mark Tuffin

RHB/RM Born: Colchester, 1971

Made Abberton debut in 1996 and enjoyed several successful seasons until serious ilnness brought about a premature halt to his career. Returned to the fray in 2009 as a Captain Pugwash lookalike.

Useful middle order batsman who should have probably scored more runs that his statistics show, he is also a cunning medium pace straight spinner.

Genuine square leg fieldsman and father to one of the club's more promising young colts.
