Matt Gilray

RHB/RFM Born: Christchurch, New Zealand, 1983

An impressive pace bowler with exceptional control who proved a real handful to all but the best of our TCL opponents during his debut season of 2008 when he grabbed a respectable 76 wickets. Probably the finest pound-for-pound bowler to have appeared for ADCC. Previously played his cricket with New Brighton and now for East Christchurch-Shirley (girls' team?) alongside NZ test stars Craig McMillan, Nathan Astle and Michael Paps.

Likes to bat early in the order and has promised to score lots of runs in 2009. Posesses a magnificent arm from the deep. Andy Caddick lookalike who is a butcher by trade back home. Known as 'The Enforcer'.
