Technically gifted batsmen, claims not to bowl due to laziness but, after beers and a brai, will confess to bowling decent medium pace. No slouch in the field despite the implications of the receding hairline.

English, but schooled in South Africa and can regularly be found eating copious amounts of Biltong, he came to Abberton in 2006 having played for Colchester Garrison. Mysteriously disappeared in the same season, reputedly on Special Operations for his previous club although this cannot be confirmed; at least not until the release of his first novel Bravo Normally out on Two or Zero due for release in 2009.
