Cricketing achievements:  Co-holding club record partnetship, 273* v Halstead in 2005 including fifteen threes.

Best non-professional played with:  Simon Swinn, Jason Leckie (class batsmen), Giles Saunders (hardest hitter of a ball I have seen in local cricket).

Biggest cricketing influence:  Watching the great ADCC side of the early 90s with Swinn, Sherwood, Brown and Garner. A really exciting time to be around the club as an impressionable 14 year old.

Favourite local ground:  Elmstead, Mistley.

Least favourite local ground:  Harwich (cold), Great Bentley (bumpy), West Mersea (horrible), any council pitch

Favourite Abberton player:  Barry Rudlin

Three sporting legends:  Graham Gooch, Gary Lineker, Shane Warne.

Other sports played: Weight training, running. Fitness comes in handy with FBs in the team.

Most memorable sporting moment:  Ashes 2005, especially Flintoff's great over v Langer and Ponting at Edgbaston.

Advice for young players:  Try to stay committed to playing once you discover drinking, shagging and Saturday jobs.

Favourite food:  Scallops with white truffles, BBQ pork belly/ribs.

Favourite drink:  Water, good red wine.

Biggest fear in life:  Getting a serious illness, opening Rudders' kit bag by mistake!

Newspaper read:  The Times (to read in the evening), The Sun (to read on the toilet).
