Ryan Savill

RHB/OB Born: Colcheser, 1986

Made his Abberton debut in 2004 after featuring for the Colts but then joined Colchester & East Essex where he played a higher standard of cricket and also increased his mental awareness of the game. Returned to Abberton in 2008 and was voted 1st XI Player of the Year.

A stroke-playing middle order batsman who is very fast between the wickets and an attacking off break bowler who claimed 65 victims in 2008 despite winning the award for the Most Effeminate Run-Up. Has appreared for Essex II.

Works had at his game and is a very able cover fieldsman with a reliable pair of hands. Recently joined MENSA, he is an acknowledeged expert on crop circles.
