Steve Snell

RHB/RM Born: Hamilton, New Zealand, 1982

Former cattle hand from New Zealand's north island Waikato region where he played for Te Awa Mutu Sports. A very strong high order batsman who prefers to go in after the shine has been taken off the ball.

Hit a club record 272 against Gosfield in 2008 and smote 28 sixes during the season. Thought to be a bit of a slug between the eickets, he is nevertheless a capable slip fieldsman but many feel he is better employed as a boundary sweeper.

Teatotaller who bowls occasional right arm cannon fodder. Appears to like wearing eye make-up and nail polish.
